Palette FAQs:
1. Do you offer free consultations?
Yes, we offer a 45-minute free consultation with Joyce, our Director of Education Consulting.
2. What if I would like to schedule another consultation after the initial one?
We can schedule additional consultations at a rate of CAD 100 + 5% GST per hour.
3. What are the procedures following the initial consultation?
We will begin by charging a contract deposit fee of CAD 100 + tax, which acts as a commitment deposit. After that, we will request some basic information, and it will take approximately 1–2 days to prepare the contract. Once the contract is ready, you can review it, and if everything looks good, you can sign it.
Payment must be completed within the time frame specified in the contract. The start date for planning will be clearly indicated in the contract, and payment should be made before that date (usually within 5 working days after signing).
Once planning begins, following the signing of the contract and completion of payment, we will create a group that includes students, parents, the planning teacher, and our administrative staff. The planning teacher will then schedule meetings and assessments with you, officially starting the planning process.
Please note that if, after reviewing the contract, parents and students choose not to proceed with the planning, the CAD 100 fee will be retained and will not be refunded, and the process will be terminated.
4. Do you offer discounts for Potts classes if we become planning students?
Yes, we offer a 15% discount for group classes and a 10% discount for one-on-one classes.
5. How many meetings are there after signing up for planning services?
We will create a group where students and parents can communicate with the counselor at any time. Formal one-on-one meetings with students will occur once a week during the first month, and afterward, typically 1–2 times per month. Over the course of about a year, there will be approximately 20 meetings, each lasting around 30–45 minutes, depending on individual needs.
